Coming Home To YOU
"Coming Home To Me has been a process of letting go of fear, people pleasing, guilt, and shame. For years, I chased temporary moments of wholeness, never knowing how to hold onto them. The breakthrough came when I learned to ground myself, to be intentional, and to connect with my awareness, acknowledgement, and acceptance. On this journey back to my inner voice, I had to unlearn decades of stories—the cultural conditioning, the lies I had told myself about who I needed to be for everyone else.
As part of my spiritual practice, I send people their energy back to them and call my energy back from them. This simple act became my anchor for coming home. Coming home to yourself after years of overgiving and self-abandonment means something profound: it means realizing that the house you spent a lifetime cleaning, maintaining, and lighting for everyone else has a master bedroom—and it has been sitting empty while you slept on the floor of other people's emergencies. As your strategist, I am here to help you unpack your bags, lock the front door to outside demands, and cross your own threshold. Today, we are moving back inside our own skin. It is an honor to embrace your stillness and rediscover who you truly are.
Have you ever realized that you know everyone else's favorite color, schedule, triggers, and dreams, but you have no idea what brings you joy? That is the hallmark of chronic overgiving. We pack our bags, hand our keys out to the world, and live out of a suitcase of other people's needs. Today, we change the locks. This is about reclaiming the real estate of your own soul."
Chakra Activation: Root (Muladhara) Re-Habitation To come home to yourself, you must inhabit your physical foundation. The Root Chakra, located at the base of your spine, is your permanent residence in the physical world.
The Physical Anchor: Sit squarely on your seat. Feel the surface beneath you holding your complete weight. Place your palms face down on your thighs.
The Visualization: Imagine a rich, warm, glowing red anchor settling deep into your tailbone, locking into the earth. It is your permanent home base.
The Breath: Inhale deeply for four counts, drawing that grounding red energy up into your torso. Exhale slowly for six counts, whispering internally: "I am finally home."
The Affirmation: Whisper or think: "My body is my sanctuary. I reside within myself."
The Seal: Press your feet firmly into the floor, sealing your return.
The Strategist's View: As a strategist, I look at self-abandonment as misplaced real estate. Strategic shifts for this beautiful rising:
The Cost of Overgiving: When you abandon yourself to care for everyone else, you leave your inner house dark. People walk in, take what they need, and leave a mess because no one is home to protect the gates.
The Stranger in the Mirror: Coming home can feel awkward at first. When you haven't consulted your own desires in years, meeting yourself can feel like meeting a stranger. Have patience with your own homecoming.
The Eviction Notice: You must officially evict the belief that your worth is tied to how much you sacrifice. Self-abandonment is not a virtue; it is a spiritual vacancy.
The "Housewarming" Protocol:
The Inventory of Absence: Write down two areas of your life where you have completely abandoned your own needs to accommodate someone else's comfort.
The Reclamation Statement: Write down what you would do right now if your own peace was the highest priority in your world.
The Boundary Stake: Name one boundary you are putting up today to keep your energy inside your own house.
The Commitment: Write: "I live here now. I am not abandoning myself anymore."
The Integration Protocol: Coming home to yourself isn't a rushed event; it is an acclimation. Before we act on our new boundaries or give birth to a restored life, we must integrate this homecoming through three distinct phases:
Tap into Awareness: Bring your focus entirely into your physical body right now. Notice where you have been spread too thin across other people's landscapes. Acknowledge the fatigue of self-abandonment without judgment.
Sense It and Sit With It: Do not try to fix everything or overcorrect immediately. Sit right in the quiet center of this homecoming. Let your nervous system feel what it's like to pull all your energy back inside your own borders.
Allowing and Receiving: Stop forcing solutions or planning your next move. Open your hands, drop your shoulders, and simply allow your authentic presence to fill your physical vessel. Receive the deep safety of being back in your own body before you ever try to give birth to a new action, a new boundary, or a new demand.
Food for Thought: If you treated your own soul with the same loyalty, attention, and care that you have given to jobs, partners, and projects that drained you, what kind of life would you already be living?
Wisdom Insight: You were never lost; you were simply stationed everywhere except inside yourself. We stop wandering the halls of other people's expectations and unlock the door to your own heart. This day, come home. Your sanctuary awaits.

A Sacred Welcome: You Have Always Been the Destination
Wholeness, Beautiful Soul✨!
Somewhere along the way, you left yourself. Not all at once—it was gradual, almost imperceptible. One yes when you meant no. One need set aside because someone else’s felt more urgent. One dream deferred, one boundary uncrossed, one feeling swallowed because the timing was not right, the room was not safe, the cost felt too high. And then another. And another. Until one day you looked up and realized you were everywhere except with yourself.
This week’s volume is not a strategy. It is an invitation. An invitation to stop. To turn around. To walk back—gently, without drama, without requiring yourself to have it all figured out—toward the one place that has always been waiting for you: yourself. Coming home to you is not a one-time event. It is a practice. A daily, sometimes hourly choice to return to your own center when life has pulled you away from it. And it is, without question, the most important journey you will ever make.
Food For Thought:
Nourishment for Your Soul:
Coming Home To YOU
What does it feel like to be at home in yourself? Try to remember—or try to imagine, if it has been so long that remembering is difficult. It feels like ease. Like you do not have to translate yourself for the room you are in. Like your opinions arrive without a lengthy internal debate about whether you are allowed to have them. Like rest is genuinely restful, rather than a guilty interlude between productive stretches. Like you can sit with yourself in silence without immediately reaching for distraction. Like the face in the mirror is someone you recognize and are glad to see.
The return does not require a dramatic overhaul of your life. It does not require leaving your job, ending your relationships, or retreating to a mountaintop. It requires something far more available and far more immediate: a quality of attention. The simple, radical, profoundly countercultural act of turning your awareness toward yourself—your actual feelings, your actual needs, your actual values and longings and truths—and treating what you find there as worthy of your genuine care and your faithful response.
What Disconnects You from YOU
Many women don't lose themselves overnight. It happens little by little—through years of putting everyone else first, meeting expectations, carrying responsibilities, and believing their worth is tied to what they do instead of who they are.
Sometimes the disconnection comes from constantly caring for others while neglecting yourself. Sometimes it comes from seeking approval, striving for perfection, or believing you must always be productive to deserve rest. Other times, it comes from carrying unresolved pain, old stories, disappointments, or fears about the future that make it difficult to fully experience the present.
None of these experiences mean there is something wrong with you. They simply reveal where your attention has been directed.
The beautiful truth is that what has been disconnected can be reconnected.
Coming home to YOU is choosing, one intentional moment at a time, to reconnect with your inner wisdom, honor your needs, and build a relationship with yourself that feels safe, sustainable, and true.
That is where intentional self-care begins.
"You must learn to get in touch with the innermost essence of your being. This true essence is beyond the ego. It is fearless; it is free; it is immune to criticism; it does not fear any challenge. It is beneath no one, superior to no one, and full of magic, mystery, and enchantment."
Deepak Chopra
“I love you — I am at rest with you — I have come home.”

WISDOM FROM SPIRITUAL MOTHERS & FATHERS
Louise Hay:
"I am in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing. I am safe, and all is well in my world.
"Maya Angelou:"
You alone are enough. You have nothing to prove to anybody."
Iyanla Vanzant:
"Home is where the heart is. And the heart is within you."
Closing: Heart-to-Heart
Dearest one, you have been away long enough. Not because you were wrong to leave—life required what it required, and you gave what you could. But because the woman who lives at the center of your life deserves your presence now, perhaps more than anyone or anything else. Coming home to yourself is not the end of your responsibilities to others. It is the beginning of your capacity to meet them from a place of genuine fullness rather than quiet depletion.
You are the home you have always been searching for. Come back to her. She has been waiting, with extraordinary patience and extraordinary love, for exactly this moment.
With a deep welcome home,
Your Self-Care Strategist 💕
P.S. Sweet soul, if the idea of coming home to yourself feels more like grief than relief right now—if you are not entirely sure who you would find there, or if you are afraid of what the silence might reveal—I want you to know that is one of the most honest and courageous places you can begin. You do not have to arrive home with everything figured out. You just have to be willing to knock on the door. To show up. To say, quietly and without pretense: I am here. I want to know myself again. Start there. Start today. The woman on the other side of that door has been waiting for you with nothing but love, and she is so very glad you came.
“The longest journey you will ever take is the eighteen inches from your head to your heart.”
