Something Just Shifted

Everything in nature shows us that things shift, change, grow, and move through stages of evolution. Look at how a sperm and egg merge to form human life—journeying from embryo to fetus, infant to full-grown adult. Within those major stages are countless smaller developments happening that we are both conscious and unconscious of as we evolve. We see the baby crawling, then holding onto furniture to stand, and finally walking. Meanwhile, our subconscious mind—which houses the soul—is working deep within our mind-body-soul creation, ensuring every organ and body system operates internally long before the mind and physical body realize and witness the metamorphosis.

We work on a new skill or try to change a habit, and it seems like nothing is changing—but it is, in small, subtle moments we often overlook. Sometimes we ignore these quiet shifts because we're waiting for something bigger, something more dramatic. When we seek something more profound, we're often still tethered to external validation. The truth is, we do outgrow people, situations, and environments, and we need to recognize when to pivot or walk away because staying too long can rob us of our peace of mind and health. Often when something has just shifted within us, our first instinct is to fill the space or replace what was lost. But we haven't yet sat with this new version of ourselves long enough to truly understand what we need—or what we're ready to become.

We've all had those moments—sometimes a thunderclap, sometimes a whisper—where the way we see ourselves, our work, or our path suddenly changes. As your strategist, I'm here to tell you that the shift is the most critical part of the process. If you ignore the click, you miss the change.

Chakra Activation: Third Eye (Ajna) Perception To recognize a shift, we must move beyond our physical sight and tap into our internal vision. The Third Eye Chakra, located between the brows, is our center of intuition and "big picture" strategy.

  1. The Physical Anchor: Gently tap the space between your eyebrows with your middle finger three times.
  2. The Visualization: Imagine a deep, indigo light glowing behind your forehead. This light is like a lighthouse beam, cutting through the fog of "how things used to be."
  3. The Mindfulness Activity: Close your eyes. Inhale for four counts, visualizing that indigo light clearing your vision. Exhale for six counts, releasing the "old map."
  4. The Affirmation: Whisper or think: "My vision is clear. I trust the new direction I am being shown."
  5. The Seal: Take one more deep breath and open your eyes, looking at your surroundings as if seeing them for the first time on this day.

The Strategist's View: As a strategist, I look at a shift as real-time data recalibration.

  1. The Lag Time Trap: Your spirit shifts instantly, but your habits usually lag behind. This creates "friction." Don't judge the friction; it's just the physical world catching up to the spiritual update.
  2. Pivoting vs. Quitting: Quitting is stopping because it's hard; pivoting is changing direction because you've outgrown the current path. Recognize the difference so you don't feel guilty for evolving.
  3. The Void Space: Between the shift and the new reality, there is often a "void"—a period of silence. As your strategist, I'm telling you: do not rush to fill the void. The void is where the new blueprint settles.

The "Shift Audit":

  1. Identify the Friction: Write down one thing that felt "easy" a month ago but feels "clunky" or "wrong" today.
  2. The "New Knowing": If you were 100% brave, what would you say has changed about your desire in that area?
  3. The Strategic Pivot: Write down one small adjustment you can make during this day to honor that change (e.g., "I will stop saying yes to this type of meeting," or "I will begin researching [new topic]").
  4. The Commitment: Write: "I honor the evolution. I am not who I was."

Food for Thought: If you are still trying to fit into the version of yourself that existed six months ago, you are wearing a suit that is three sizes too small. Why are you so afraid of the "new fit"?

Wisdom Insight: The caterpillar doesn't "decide" to become a butterfly; it simply honors the shift in its own biology. Your growth is inevitable, but your peace depends on your permission. Give yourself permission to be new.

Nourishment for Your Soul: Recognizing the Pivot Point

Have you felt it recently—that moment when something just shifted? Maybe it was subtle: you responded differently to a trigger that usually hooks you. Or maybe it was profound: you suddenly understood a pattern that's been running your life. Or maybe it was quiet: you just know something has changed inside you, even if you can't name it yet.

Consider this: Every major transformation in your life started with an internal shift—a moment when you saw things differently, when your relationship with something changed, when awareness deepened in a way that made going back impossible. These moments are the actual transformation. Everything else is just the working out of what shifted internally.

Honoring Your Transformation: The Sacred Moment of Shift

There's a profound moment that happens in personal growth that's hard to articulate but unmistakable when you experience it: something just shifts. It's not always dramatic or obvious to others. You might be in the middle of an ordinary conversation, or sitting quietly alone, or going through your daily routine when suddenly—something clicks. A pattern becomes clear. A truth lands differently. A perspective inverts. An old belief loses its grip. You see something you couldn't see before, and once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Recognizing when something shifts means: acknowledging the moment of internal transformation, honoring the breakthrough even when you can't yet articulate it, trusting that you've changed even if behaviors haven't caught up yet, giving yourself credit for the awareness shift itself, understanding that integration takes time, creating space to process the shift, and celebrating the pivot point even when the full transformation is still unfolding.

This week, we honor your moments of shift and celebrate your willingness to recognize, trust, and integrate the transformation that's happening within you.

Think of it like this: once you see the optical illusion both ways, you can't unsee it even if your eyes keep defaulting to the original image. The shift in perception happened. Now you're just practicing seeing the new way until it becomes automatic. Be patient. Keep returning to what you saw. The shift happened. The full manifestation is coming. Trust the process. You're not going backward—you're integrating forward. That's how real, lasting transformation works.
