My Journey Back to Myself: Finding Anchor in Intention

It was exhausting, alienating, and left me with a sense of profound emptiness.
For a portion of my life, I was a runner, pushing through miles with determination. Yet, off the track, that same grit was missing when it came to my own well-being. The turning point wasn’t a grand revelation, but a slow, quiet realization. I stopped trying to please the outside world, stopped seeking external validation, and instead, I started listening. Really listening. To that soft, persistent whisper from my inner world. It was in those moments of stillness and quiet reflection that I began to cultivate a profound sense of intentionality and a deep appreciation for my time with myself.
This shift wasn’t instant, but it was transformative. Living intentionally became my new stride. It helped me embrace and have confidence in life decisions, to draw boundaries that protected my energy, and to truly honor and appreciate the person I was becoming. My trust in myself, which had been at rock bottom, began to flourish, and with it, a newfound sense of self-worth. It’s these small, daily acts of intention, these personal rituals, that have empowered me to reclaim my days and truly live from a place of authenticity."
